Aloysius is an architect at the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore specialising in urban-scale computational design. His focus revolves around generative design and optimisation, while upskilling in geospatial analytics and software development. He is passionate about the formulation and de-conflicting of data pipelines investigating logical flow and causality.
For his master's thesis, Aloysius criticised the current notions of market speculation and consolidation in centralised planning, and delved into participatory urbanism exhibiting homeostatic (self-balancing) behaviours using an agent-based computational model.
Aloysius is driven to harness computational expertise and methodologies in the built environment sector. He envisions technological innovation as a solution to a spectrum of challenges, spanning productivity, analytics, stakeholdership, management, and litigation.
